About Aston Vauxhall

Aston was established by Brian Kay and Derek Oldham in 1989 who purchased the existing site and had the facilities that exist today purpose built.

The business opened with just 11 staff members, 6 of whom are still with the company today.

In 1997 the Bodyshop facility was acquired and opened as a Vauxhall Approved facility.

The Aston team today produces a turnover of over £10 000 000 per annum and there are just 38 employees across all departments, the facilities we offer are currently improving and as the longest established franchised dealer in the area we are rightfully proud of our ability to continue to satisfy the needs of our many loyal customers in an ever changing world.

Driving the business forward are two Directors who work closely together to ensure that excellent customer service is delivered consistently across the business.

Brian Kay

Brian has over 30 years motor trade experience, one of the founding Directors is still as enthusiastic and passionate about the business as when the company was formed.  These days he oversees the whole business as Managing Director and has a hands on role in Sales and Marketing

 

m knight Michael joined Aston as a skilled Technician at the start, working his way thorough the company, today as Aftersales Director Michael oversees all our customer service facilities with a hands on role in our Masterfit department

Peter Bettelley our Showroom Manager of 8 years receiving one of our many market leadership awards for Aston.  This award is for quarter 4 2007.  Aston has consistently held VAUXHALL as the top selling brand in Melton Mowbray for nearly 20 years.

Kirsty Davies and Stephanie Chambers our exceptional administration team on sales receiving the district award for top performing Vauxhall dealer.  Our area covers from Luton to Newark.  This is an achievement all the team at Aston are very proud of.
