                       New 2010.5 Model Year Astra Sporthatch Changes

To summarise, the Astra Sporthatch line up has been refreshed, new exterior colours are available as with a wider range of engines.

The Astra Sporthatch line is revitalised for MY2010.5. The line up features two exciting new trims, Sport and Exclusiv. The SRi trim has been enhanced, this replaces the SXi trim. The Design trim level has been removed.

The new Sport trim features 16" alloy wheels combined with the VXR Styling Pack as standard, providing the vehicle with a great exterior look at a significantly lower price than the previous Active model. The new Sport model's entry level price is only £15,995, which is £370 lower than the outgoing Active model and the Sport model also has over £900 worth of additional equipment.

The new Exclusiv model includes includes a number of premium features as standard such as Sight and Light Pack, Cruise Control, dark tinted rear glass with a chrome lower window moulding and a multi function trip computer, providing great value.

The SRi trim level has been broadened and now includes 1.4 and 1.6 engines as well as the 1.7 (110PS) ecoFLEX CDTi diesel and these new SRi models come with a new 16" alloy wheel. These new models directly replace the previous SXi models and represent even better value, for example the new 1.4 SRi retains the same low price as the outgoing SXi model and also gets a new alloy wheel and dark tint rear glass.

The remaning SRi 1.8 16v VVT, 1.7 (100PS) CDTi and 1.9 (150PS) CDTi models come with ESP, rear spoiler, sport swtich and alarm and also get a new 18" alloy wheel as standard. In addition all SRi and SRi XP models now get dark tint rear glass with a lower chrome window moulding as standard.

The new MY2010.5 Astra Sporthatch line up now features 18 exciting Sporthatch models, the new line up has been significantly streamlined from the previous 35 model offering, making it far simpler to understand and easier for the customer to choose from.
